FORE! RAIN OR SHINE
Many thanks to the organizers and participants of the Hellenic Community of Ottawa & AHEPA Ottawa Golf Tournament, on September 12.
The day started and ended with a beautiful shining sun – and as storms rumbled mid-tournament golfers showed their good spirits and enthusiasm by waiting it out and playing through.
It was a fun day filled with golf, prizes, competitions, food and friends all in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. The Greek community really showed their support when presenting the Ottawa Food Bank Executive Director, Peter Tilley, with a cheque for $10,000.
That kind donation will definitely make a difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you!

We definitely enjoyed a great day of golf and I really want to let Peter and his entire crew know what a pleasure it was to work on this tournament with them.
They treated the tournament like it was their own and I can’t thank you enough for all of your help.
Special thanks to Sarah and Maggie for all your help in design, organizing and volunteering at the tournament. No one was claiming a hole-in-one that day unless these two Ladies witnessed it! 🙂
I also want to thank Joanne and Samantha for their help the day of the tournament as well! These two Ladies raised alot of money at the putting competition and Joanne sold alot of raffle tickets!
