Ottawa Food Bank Executive Director Michael Maidment is pleased to announce the appointment of David Law, Partner at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, as Chair of the Board of Directors. Michael G. Adams, Senior Vice-President at Brookfield Soundvest Capital Management, is now the Vice-Chair of the Board.
Also newly appointed is Abraham Feinstein as the Board’s Secretary. Abraham is Counsel, Real Estate & Development, Commercial Leasing at Soloway Wright. Natalie Evans will remain as the Ottawa Food Bank Board of Directors’ Treasurer. Natalie Evans is the Manager, Assurance & Advisory Services at Ginsberg, Gluzman, Fage & Levitz, LLP.
Chair David Law expressed gratitude to out-going Chair, Diane Morrison, and Secretary, Barbara Carroll, for their service.
“We are very happy that both Diane and Barbara will continue on our Board of Directors,” says Law.
The Ottawa Food Bank supports 140 food programs providing food for 50,000 people per month in the Ottawa area.
