Boone Plumbing and Heating Supply Inc is an organization that has supported the Ottawa Food Bank in various ways for many years. Now, they’re taking on the Food Sort Challenge!

[blockquote]”We are thrilled to be part of an event that has grown year over year and are proud to be associated in this Ottawa Food Bank initiative!”

– Marco Belanger, Operations Manager, Boone Plumbing and Heating Supply Inc[/blockquote]

Boone has been a staple in the Ottawa community for over 80 years and they feel they have a responsibility to give back and be a “good corporate neighbour”.

[blockquote]”We support various fundraising efforts each year but thought that being part of the Food Sort Challenge was a creative way of generating funds and an opportunity to bring awareness to the hunger problem that exists right here in and around our city,” says Belanger. “It’s also a great way to get employees at all levels of our organization involved in this worthy cause beyond just contributing financially.”[/blockquote]

Boone is a plumbing and heating wholesaler that has been part of the Ottawa area landscape since 1937. They also have a retail/showroom division called Mondeau Bathroom and Kitchen that caters to home owners, designers, builders, plumbers, and Do-It-Yourselfers.
