Food Aid

A BBQ FOR YOU. FOOD FOR THOSE IN NEED.

To raise money for our Food Aid program, we hold an annual BBQ. After all, what better way to raise money for a program that supplies beef to those in need than by selling burgers from The Works?

In 2011, our Ottawa Food Aid BBQ and radiothon raised $116,000 dollars to provide ground beef to families in need. Our goal this year will be even HIGHER!

When: June 1. The Works BBQ is from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Where: Two locations – City Hall front lawn, and  NACAP-Skyline Building by Tower 2, corner of Baseline and Marivale
What: A BBQ with delicious hamburgers from The Works, and a lot more entertainment and fun! $10 gets you a burger, chips, and a drink in support of Food Aid!

Other Festivities at the City Hall location:
8 a.m. – 2 p.m.: 580 CFRA broadcasts live and radiothon
10:30 a.m.: Celebrity Milking Competition #1
11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Live Music by
– Neil McDaniel and Ellen Daly
– Fridge Full of Empties
12:30 p.m.: Celebrity Milking Competition #2

Can’t attend the BBQ? Text BEEF to 45678 to donate $10 (details at mobilegiving.ca)
