A big thank you to Purolator for once again including the Ottawa Food Bank in the Purolator Tackle Hunger campaign.
Fans of both the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa Fury FC were asked to bring donations for the Ottawa Food Bank to the July 8th and July 15th games, respectfully, in an effort to Tackle Hunger across the city. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Ottawa’s sports fans, with a few bonus donations added in after the REDBLACKS cheque presentation the equivalent of 46,215 pounds of food was donated collectively!
Thank you to the amazing sports fans who donated. That 46,215 pounds will go along way towards helping our 41,540 neighbours in need of emergency food support.
Also thank you to the REDBLACKS, Ottawa Fury FC, and OSEG for your outstanding support. Your support and enthusiasm during this annual campaign is always appreciated and makes a big difference.
