Sakto Corp. Gives Baby Basics a Major Boost

The Ottawa Food Bank has received a much-needed boost for our Baby Basics Program, from local real estate holding and investment firm Sakto Corporation. Sakto has donated an incredible $20,000 to the program.

The Baby Basics Program provides baby supplies and food to parents in need of more across Ottawa.

Despite distributing more than 620 cases of baby food, over 2,800 cases of diapers, and close to 2,000 cases of baby formula last year, it still wasn’t enough to keep up with demand. Even if the budget for this program was doubled next year, we still wouldn’t meet the demand for these items. With that in mind, this contribution from Sakto Corporation has come at the perfect time.

Thank you for helping us help the most vulnerable people in our community. You’re making a difference in the lives of babies and parents across the city.
