Thank you to our friends from RBC for joining us on our farm and helping in more ways than one.
RBC, who are long-time supporters of the Ottawa Food Bank, brought a team to our Community Harvest farming project to not only help with harvesting carrots and potatoes, but also to present the Ottawa Food Bank with an incredibly generous $20,000 donation.
The donation, which was split with $15,000 coming from the RBC Foundation and $5,000 from RBC Dominion Securities, is to help the Ottawa Food Bank with it’s Baby Basics Program, as well as general needs for the organization such as food purchases.
To date, RBC has donated upwards of $150,000 to the Ottawa Food Bank and a generous amount of their volunteer time.
