11th Annual CTV Morning Live Holiday Helpers a Success
Continuing the tradition of three locations for people to visit and drop off donations (Walmart Innes, Walmart Baseline, and CTV Morning Live headquarters), the community came out bright and early to show support for the Ottawa Food Bank and the people for whom we provide.
As generous donors started to fill our trucks and monetary donation jugs
From all three donation locations, the community collectively donated a very generous $151,140 and 11,502 lbs of food!
The amount of money fundraised this year is a record breaking! There were countless examples during the Holiday Helpers Food Drive of incredible kindness and generosity. For a recap of the Holiday Helpers donations made during the December 6th CTV Morning Live show, check out the montage created of the special broadcast.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and donated to help make a difference in our community. Your contribution has made the holidays brighter for 38,400 people in our city through our network of 114 community food programs.
THANK YOU to the entire Bell Media family in Ottawa and the CTV Morning Live team for your dedication to this wonderful event. You are amazing leaders in our city and we appreciate all you do for us during this food drive and throughout the year. Your behind the scenes hard work leading up to the broadcast is inspiring and appreciated.
Thank you to CAA and Baton Rouge for being generous sponsors of the CTV Morning Live Holiday Helpers Food Drive and for joining us during the December 6th broadcast.
Also thank you to Sobeys and Your Credit Union for joining us during the second day of the broadcast to help sort the donations that were donated.
