Outstanding Community Supporters

A big thank-you to Jo-Anne Raven, and all the customers and members at Yarn Forward & Sew-On (581 Bank Street), for your continued support.

With the help of the Sewing and Embroidery Club members Yarn Forward has been donating food to the Ottawa Food Bank every month for the last six years, or more.

Once a month, Jo-Anne delivers two to three large wooden crates of food to the Ottawa Food Bank warehouse. She doesn’t say much when she arrives – she drops the food off with a smile and continues about her day.

Jo-Anne, your efforts – with the help of the Sewing and Embroidery Club members, have not gone unnoticed. Thank you. You are truly making a difference to those in need in the Ottawa community.
