The Home Depot and Trent Lumber donate materials, expertise, and time

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]THANK YOU to Home Depot (Kanata) and Trent Lumber for being such amazing supporters of the Ottawa Food Bank.

These two generous organizations have donated their materials, expertise, and time to build a 12 foot by 20 foot storage shed at the Ottawa Food Bank’s Community Harvest farm.

This shed will house farming equipment and tools that are necessary to the operation of the Ottawa Food Bank’s near six-acre farming project.

[blockquote]Community Harvest grows a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables for distribution to the Ottawa Food Bank’s 140 food program member agencies. Last year, the farm yielded over 73,000 pounds of produce.[/blockquote]

Thank you to Home Depot (Kanata) and Trent Lumber – your donation will help us get fresh fruit and vegetables to people in our community and help move our neighbours beyond hunger.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1440700331875-1dd996b4-b28b-1″ include=”13951,13952,13953″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1440701091989-cb7ab579-c6c6-5″ include=”13956,13957,13958″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
