We will be hosting a Volunteer Information Session on Thursday April 6th regarding the exciting volunteer roles during the Défi Entreprises event on Sunday, May 7th.
Défi Entreprises is an outdoor race day that includes 5K, 10K, Zumba, and Bootcamp-like events.
The Ottawa Food Bank is a beneficiary of this event, and we need to bring some volunteers with us to join in on the fun.
Volunteer roles could include:
- Bicycle patrol to ride the course and monitor participants and raise any health and safety issues – must have your own bike in working order
- Course attendants to ensure participants are traveling the correct path
- Parking lot attendants
- Water station volunteers
- Photographers with their own camera
- Boot camp volunteers who are able to set up and tear down course obstacles as well as monitor runners and raise any health and safety issues
