While it seems like it’s still summer, the autumn and holiday seasons are here!
The Ottawa Food Bank always celebrates this time of year with our Thanks for Giving Food Drive. We are calling out YOU, our amazing supporters, to help us by volunteering at a grocery store and encouraging people to donate their favourite food items.
The time commitment to our volunteers is only 3 hours – but the support of the volunteers means so much to us!
Details:
- Saturday, October 10th
- 18 participating grocery stores
- Two time slots to choose from: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. or 1 – 4 p.m.
- An opportunity to make a difference for the Ottawa Food Bank, and for people in your community

Trying to volunteer to work on Saturday for food drive at Vanier Loblaw but your page will not let me answer either yes or no to the question “Are you biligual? English/French”.
10am to 1pm shift
Answer is Not perfectly … But I manage to answer questions and help people out.
