We had such a wonderful time over the weekend during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Thank you to the Irish Society of the National Capital Region for once again inviting us to take part, and for encouraging parade-goers to bring donations for the Ottawa Food Bank.
As our amazing volunteers collected food and money donations, our van and our friend Wyatt’s horse-drawn wagon quickly filled up. Thank you very much to the generous people who came out to watch the parade who brought donations. We collected an impressive $1,386 and approximate 320 lbs of food!
Thank you to the volunteers who donated their time to walk the route with us. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without.
