Cercle Kiriza, in association with Le Petit Chicago and Le Troquet, is holding a special food drive and fundraising event in recognition of the fact that hunger extends beyond the holidays.

The event will be held over two days:

• Friday, February 22 at le Petit Chicago (50 Promenade du Portage, Hull-Gatineau) starting at 6 p.m
• Saturday, February 23 at Le Troquet (41 rue Laval, Hull-Gatineau) starting at 8 p.m.

Individuals and families attending this open to the public event are invited to bring non-perishable items for donation.

About the event:

The two-day event aims to mobilize resources to support the work of the Ottawa Food Bank and Moisson Outaouais. These organizations provide daily assistance to those in need in our community. Cercle Kiriza is also looking to raise funds for its ongoing projects in the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). There will be a short presentation from recipient organizations followed by an opportunity for discussion.  Finally it  will be time to groove to the music of local DJs and artists!
