Another GREAT Ski Pulk

140 kg of flour for the Ottawa Food Bank!

This past weekend was the third annual Nakkertok Ski Pulk Pull, and what a success!

Fourteen participants took on the challenge of hooking themselves up to a sled with a payload of 10 kg of flour and jumped into a mass start race covering a distance of 4.5 km at Nakkertok Ski Club.  The club is known for its great family and racing environment and so it made for a perfect venue to host such an event.  Following the race Dave Adams, the race organizer, delivered all the flour to the Ottawa Food Bank.

Many thanks to  Nakkertok Ski Club for thinking of the Ottawa Food Bank for this fun event once again! The flour can be split up and distributed to some of our Member Agencies to aid in their kitchens.
