CTV Morning Live/BOB FM Food Drive

BE A PART OF THE FOOD DRIVE FUN!

UPDATE: It was an amazing morning with CTV Morning Live in our warehouse on Friday, Dec. 2 from 6 – 10 a.m. The true treat came when Kurt announced on live TV the results of the CTV Morning Live / BOB FM Food Drive from the day before. With the help of the very generous Ottawa Community, they were able to raise an amazing$52,995.81 and 61,500 pounds of food!!

During the month of November you business, office or school can be a part of the CTV Morning Live / BOB FM Food Drive, sponsored by Giant Tiger.

Write to ottawa.morning@ctv.ca to register your team, then for the month of November collect food and funds for the Ottawa Food Bank! Once all the donations are collected and the food drive is over, drop off your donations LIVE on-air druing the CTV Morning Live / BOB FM Food Drive broadcast on December 1st.

For your convenience there are four drop-off locations:

  • CTV Morning Live studio – 87 George St.
  • Giant Tiger – 2480 Walkley Rd.
  • Giant Tiger – 1 Stafford Rd.
  • Giant Tiger – 2016 Oglivie Rd.

*Please drop-off donations by 10 a.m. at the Giant Tiger locations or by 1 p.m. at CTV Morning Live Ottawa

The CTV Morning Live / BOB FM Food Drive broadcast kicks off at 6 a.m. on CTV Morning Live with hosts Kurt Stoodley, Lianne Laing, and Jeff Hooper.

The following Giant Tiger locations will be available as drop off spots from November 1 to December 1:

  • 98 George Street
  • 1085 Wellington Street
  • 2865 DuMaurier Avenue
  • 2396 St-Joseph Boulevard, Orleans
  • 1168 Maple Street, Manotick
  • 2480 Walkley Road
  • 2950 Bank Street
  • 2016 Ogilvie Road
  • 900 Waters Road, Orleans
  • 1 Stafford Road, Bells Corners

  1. I was wondering if you could send me a file of John Ferguson, owner of Giant Tiger store 10. He was on your broadcast this morning (Nov. 1) talking about the Ottawa Food Drive. I missed it and would like to see it.

    Just wondering if December 1st is the latest we can drop off at CTV. I work for a hotel in the market and we are in the process of collecting foods for the Food Bank.

      This is a blog post from 2011. This year the CTV Holiday Helpers Food Drive is taking place tomorrow (Thursday, December 7, 2023).
