Dancing for the Ottawa Food Bank

SalsaPalooza: Dancing for a great cause

Co-hosted by Rahim’s Latin Friday and Lorna’s Dance Collective, SalsaPalooza took place on Saturday, June 11 at the Glebe Community Centre.

SalsaPalooza is an annual charity dance show where dancers representing different styles  are invited to perform.  Attendees were entertained by many styles of dance – including salsa, ballroom, hip hop, belly dancing, and more – while supporting a great cause. The hosts took the money from ticket sales and purchased 4,200 pounds of food for the Ottawa Food Bank!

We are grateful that you chose the Ottawa Food Bank to be your recipient charity this year – thank you very much for your generous donation, and for helping us feed those in need in the Ottawa community.
