FREE e-waste pick up supporting the Ottawa Food Bank

Capital Junk is excited to announce that they will be holding another FREE e-waste pick-up in support of the Ottawa Food Bank!
The Capital Junk team is collecting electronic waste from your home or business on December 8th – 9th with proceeds benefiting families in need during this holiday season. They ask that residents kindly donate a minimum of $20 in lieu of regular removal costs.
Proceeds collected will be presented at the annual Christmas Cheer Broadcast at the Rideau Centre on December 10th.
With your help, their goal this year is to raise more than $5,000!

Free pick-up for items such as

  • Monitors, keyboards, mouse’s
  • Computer towers, laptops, tablets, modems
  • Televisions (projection, plasma, HD, LCD)
  • Printers, photocopiers, fax machines, typewriters
  • Telephones, cellular phones, pagers, answering machines
  • Radio’s, speakers, turntables, stereos, amplifiers
  • Microwaves, toaster ovens, bread makers, coffee machines
  • Video recorders, cameras, digital frames

Capital Junk is happy to take any number of the above items off your hands for a $20 donation. They kindly request that individuals donate more than the minimum amount if they have more than one item. 100% of proceeds are donated to the Ottawa Food Bank through Christmas Cheer. Tune in to CFRA on December 10th at 6 o’clock for the Christmas Cheer Broadcast and find out how much they raised this year thanks to you!
