Ottawa’s 4th Annual Salsa Convention

OSC2019 is proud and excited to bring this year’s event, in support of the Ottawa Food Bank, to one of the most iconic and historic venues in the nation’s capital: the Canadian Museum of History.

The event will feature nationally and internationally renowned Latin-dance stars who will perform the latest and most exciting salsa, bachata, kizomba, cha cha cha, rumba, paso doble, jive, hip hop and flamenco moves in the beautiful theatre of the Canadian Museum of History.

Join us for three evenings of performances during Remembrance Day weekend, November 8 to 10, 2019.

In addition to the nightly performances, professional dance instructors will be giving workshops over three days. Workshops are open to all levels; no experience or partner required. Social dancing will be available on two dance floors in the same venue: the Grand Hall. Come dance with us until 3AM!
Salsa and cha cha cha music will be played in the Grand Hall area while bachata and kizomba music will be played right around the corner from the Grand Hall.

  • Shows start as early as 8:30PM and should finish around 10PM
  • For those wishing to attend the social dancing event only, social dancing will start at around 10PM
  • There are 300 underground parking spots (first come, first served)
  • NOVEMBER 8 TO 10TH, 2019
