So many Holiday Helpers during CTV Morning Live special broadcast

Generous supporters came out bright (dark?) and early to show support for the Ottawa Food Bank and the community. BellMedia and Ottawa Food Bank staff were at three drop off locations across the city – Walmart Baseline, Walmart Innes, and 87 George Street – to accept people’s kind gifts.

Amazing supporters from across the city started showing up even before the broadcast began! The enthusiasm felt from the community was incredible.

From all three donation locations, you collectively donated a RECORD BREAKING $192,643 and 15,775 lbs of food!

There were countless examples during the Holiday Helpers Food Drive of incredible kindness and generosity, from people giving us their birthday donations to someone who ensures they show up every year to donate – we were touched.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and donated to help make a difference in our community. Your contribution has made the holidays brighter for over 39,000 people in our city.

We are honoured that so many local organizations showed up to donate. We are honoured that you have selected us as a charity of choice and joined us for the show.
