THE GUILD OF POTTERS’ GREAT BOWLS OF FIRE

The Guild of Potters‘ Great Bowls of Fire 2013 event will be on March 2nd, at the Glebe Community Centre. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for ticket holders

Tickets are $45 and all proceeds go to the Ottawa Food Bank.

It’s great fun, and a chance to see various types of local talents; the potters who are preparing the soup bowls are concentrating on their craft, and the restaurants and bakeries are honing their selected recipes.

The amazing soups will be provided by local restaurants including: Domus Café, Side Door Kitchen, Wellington Gastropub, Thyme and Again, Il Primo, Canvas, Il Piccolino, Burnt Butter, Stone Soup Foodworks, Fraser Café, Town, Absinthe Café, The Joy of Gluten Free, and Allium.

There will also be harp music provided by Zepherine Poirier-Feraud and Jessie Fleet. There will also be a silent and live auction, as well as bowls for sale after the supper.

Tickets for the public will be going on sale on February 9 at Il Primo, on 371 Preston St. between 10am and noon. Be forewarned that sales are first come – first served, on a cash basis only. The restaurant will not hold tickets for anyone! A maximum of 8 tickets per person.
