The sun was shining and Sparks Street was full of people!
Thank you to Richard Loat and the Five Hole for Food team for stopping in Ottawa during your cross-country tour to help us raise funds, food, and awareness – all while having a little bit of fun!
It was amazing to have Mayor Jim Watson start the day off by dropping the first “puck”, and it was great to have Team Watson stick around and play. Also thank you to NWHL Commissioner Dani Rylan for donating and playing!
A big thank you to all who joined us for some hockey and to all who donated. We’re so appreciative of all our supporters who are helping us get our neighbours beyond hunger.
