Everyone Loves Potluck!

On May 24th at noon, the employees at KPMG in Ottawa gathered around large conference room tables to eat lunch together. This lunch had a greater purpose than spending time as a group – it was also about giving to the community. This was KPMG’s Lunch Money Day.

The lunch was a potluck with a wide variety to choose from, and the smell in the air was fantastic!

Participants paid to eat, while those who provided a dish for the potluck got their meal at a discounted rate, and all the money raised goes to the Ottawa Food Bank!

KPMG has been doing Lunch Money Day for more than a few years , and have tried a number of different activities to bring the staff together for a good cause. Linda Cruz, the organizer of KPMG’s Lunch Money Day, thinks this year’s potluck may be the best one yet!

The funds raised through Lunch Money Day go towards supporting community-based summer camps where Ottawa Food Bank lunch programs exist.
