The pennies are rolled and the results are in!
Mayor Jim Watson’s Penny Drive, which was primarily set up by City Hall’s information desk, brought in $619.83! The amount includes the generous contribution from the Scottish and Irish Store. The Nepean Chamber of Commerce also gave the penny drive a boost by collecting pennies at a breakfast, and adding them to the lot!
Thank you to the Mayor for starting this initiative, and thank you to everyone who took the time to collect their pennies and bring them by City Hall. Every little bit really does add up.
