MEDIA ADVISORY: RBC gives $30,000 to the Ottawa Food Bank

Organizations ensure Ottawa Food Bank can continue with fresh food well past the harvest season

(Ottawa, ON) On September 18th, RBC employees will lend a helping hand to the Ottawa Food Bank – and those whom they serve – in a major way.

Employees from RBC will not only be volunteering with the Ottawa Food Bank, but will also present the charity a $30,000 cheque from the RBC Foundation. These funds will support the Ottawa Food Bank’s fresh food purchases once its Community Harvest farm project wraps up its harvest season in late October.
