Mondeau Bathroom and Kitchen helping to make the Food Sort Challenge a success!

Mondeau Bathroom and Kitchen is BACK!

This is the second year for Mondeau as participants in the annual Food Sort Challenge, and this time they are also offering great support as the event’s Presenting Sponsor.

“We believe in what the Ottawa Food Bank is doing for our community,” says Marco Bélanger, Operations Manager at Mondeau Bathroom and Kitchen. “We are proud to partner with them on this event and awareness campaign.”

For more than 15 years, the people of the National Capital Region have supported Mondeau and they are proud to have the opportunity to give back. Bélanger stresses that “we believe in being a responsible corporate neighbour and community supporter, and we feel that the Ottawa Food Bank is a worthy cause.”

“We need to bring awareness to the hunger issues in our own city,” Bélanger continues. “Even though we are all residents of Ottawa, not everyone fully appreciates the severity of the hunger problem in our own city. If more people knew, hopefully more people would help.”

Mondeau Bathroom and Kitchen is Ottawa’s premier bathroom and kitchen boutique which includes three showrooms to best serve their customers.

They firmly believe that great service is one of the best ways to overcome the challenges of designing, building, and renovating bathroom and kitchen spaces. They are dedicated to helping their clients find the solutions they need and ensuring the process is pleasant and hassle-free.

But how are they at sorting 1,000 pounds of food?!

“We have a bit of an advantage because this is our second year competing. We pride ourselves on being an out-of-the-box-thinking type of organization. I think that mind set will benefit our team (The Carrot-E Kids) well in this competition!”
