We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful team of volunteers. Whether you join us regularly, once in awhile, or have helped out just one time – THANK YOU.
Every year, we work with roughly 3,000 amazing volunteers. These people, who are so generous with their time, contribute the same number of work hours as approximately 12 or 13 full time staff members!
Without our volunteers we would not be able to continue to help our neighbours move beyond hunger. We would not be able to distribute 12-14 tons of food every day to our network of 140 community food programs.
Please know that while National Volunteer Week runs from April 10th to 16th, this isn’t the only time you are appreciated. We are grateful for the work you do all year round.
