The annual Pharmasave National Conference & Buying Show was held at the new Ottawa Convention Centre this year.
On Saturday April 21st, at the end of the show, the conference organizers encouraged exhibitors to donate their remaining products to the Ottawa Food Bank; these were items such as much-needed household, hygiene, and personal supplies.
There was an overwhelming response to this request, and the seven donation bins the Ottawa Food Bank provided proved to not be large enough. They were overflowing!
When it came time to back the truck up to the loading dock at the Ottawa Convention Centre, it was clear the truck was going to drive away packed to the brim.
Thank you to all the exhibitors who donated to the Ottawa Food Bank! These are items that are in high demand.
