A big thank you to Purolator for once again including the Ottawa Food Bank in the Purolator Tackle Hunger campaign.
Fans of both the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa Fury were asked to bring donations for the Ottawa Food Bank to last weekend’s games in an effort to Tackle Hunger in our wonderful city. Thanks to their wonderful generosity, the equivalent of 40,900 pounds of food was donated in just one weekend!
Thank you to the amazing sports fans who donated. That 40,900 pounds of food will go a long way towards helping our neighbours in need get beyond hunger.
Also thank you to the REDBLACK and the Fury for your outstanding support. Your support and enthusiasm during this campaign has really contributed to its success.
