THEY’VE DONE IT AGAIN!

The 2011 Ravens Can Hunger campaign was a great success this year as Carleton’s department of recreation and athletics collected food and funds for the Ottawa Food Bank from Nov. 18-to Dec. 3, including a two-day Metro Glebe food drive.

The Ravens donated over 3,200 pounds of food, and over $2,250!

The department used a number of strategies to collect donations, including collecting at games and issuing a varsity team challenge. For the second year in a row, the Raven’s Women’s Hockey Team won the challenge, collecting 135 cans alone! Good job, ladies!
