December 9th is going to be a day-long celebration of giving!
From 5:30 a.m. when you wake up with Robyn Bresnahan on CBC Radio’s Ottawa Morning throughout all of our local programming, including All in a Day with Alan Neal and on TV on CBC Ottawa News at 6 with Adrian Harewood and Lucy van Oldenbarneveld, PROJECT GIVE will be sharing stories in an effort to raise money to support our community.
This year, CBC Ottawa has partnered with the Ottawa Food Bank for this incredible annual event!
When CBC PROJECT GIVE last supported the Ottawa Food Bank, enough money was raised to help pilot and launch our reFRESH winter produce program, enabling the Ottawa Food Bank to continue to provide fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the Winter months.
Tune into our local programming all day for special contesting and stop by St. Laurent Shopping Centre between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a community concert and family-fun activities.
Santa Claus isn’t the only thing you’ll find near the atrium at the mall. We’re also bringing music, crafts, and special guests, including Kids’ CBC, your local CBC Ottawa hosts and more!
