September 5th marked the 17th Annual DFATD (formally DFAIT) Charity Golf Tournament at Casselview Golf Course. The tournament has a long-standing history of supporting the Ottawa Food Bank, and for that we are very grateful.
Thank you to organizer Daniel Liboiron and his team for all the hard work that goes into this well organized event.
This year’s tournament raised an incredible 612 lbs of food and $2,500!
Thank you so much for your continued support, it means so much to us at the Ottawa Food Bank and to the people in our community for whom you are helping. It is events like these, and people like those who organize them, that allow us to continue to provide food for upwards of 50,000 people per month.

Hello Ottawa Food Bank. It was truly my pleasure hosting yet another successful charity event with the proceeds going to the Ottawa Food Bank, The Ottawa Mission, The Canadian Cancer Society, and a local non-profit Ottawa dance school for kids. We are always glad to helpout every year, so thank you. And thanks to your staff for coming out and helping us at the registration table and food collection, you have an amazing team of volunteers.
