Today marks the last day of our Summer Lunch Program, where together with Sodexo’s Stop Hunger Foundation we supported 18 summer camp programs across the city.
Thank you to Sodexo, for once again partnering with us and helping allow children to focus on the fun that summer has to offer, rather than their own hunger.
We delivered 10,855 Sodexo sandwiches, juice boxes, and pieces of fruit over the 7-week program, complimented by our own KickStart extras, to over 750 amazing children.
We would like to express a heartfelt THANK YOU to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Sodexo for helping make this summer great for children across Ottawa.
Your time and energy is invaluable.
Our KickStart After 4 Program, which provides nutritious snacks for school-aged children, will resume with the start of school on September 5th.
