The Ottawa Food Bank is honoured to be one of the recipients of a grant from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
Over the past 22 years, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) has provided over $58 million, supporting over 20,000 environmental projects across Canada.
With the environment in mind, TD FEF provided the grant to go towards the Ottawa Food Bank’s Community Harvest program. This program ensures that those in need of food relief in the Ottawa community receive much needed fresh produce.
Community Harvest also ensures the produce distributed is from local sources, supporting local farms and farmers. Supporting local projects is a mandate TD FEF values.
