For the last nine years, a planning committee from the Algonquin College Public Relations program has hosted the Birdies ‘n’ Buds golf tournament for PR Alumni along with family and friends.
This year’s tournament was held on September 15th at Dunnderosa Golf Club in Chelsea, Quebec.
The Ottawa Food Bank was fortunate enough to not only attend the fun day, but also be the beneficiary of the event.
The day included a fun round of golf, putting contest, trivia contest, prizes, and a rendezvous at Mill Street Pub.
Thanks to the generous organizers, participants, and sponsors just over $450 and 25 pounds of food was donated to the Ottawa Food Bank.
