Thank you to Susan, Emily, and all the riders at Royale Equestrian Centre for supporting the Ottawa Food Bank.
Susan, a rider at Royale, found herself with extra riding gear from her daughter. She approached Emily – owner of Royale Equestrian Centre – and asked if she could set up a food drive where riders could take these items in exchange for a food donation to the Ottawa Food Bank. Together, Emily and Susan embraced the concept and expanded on it by asking people to donate items at various equestrian events over the course of a month.
When all was said and done, a total of 370 pounds of food was donated!
We are grateful that you chose the Ottawa Food Bank to be the beneficiary of your generosity. Thank you to Susan and Steve for delivering your truck full of donations to us. You all have helped to make a difference in the lives of people in our community.
