For nearly two decades the Tenant-Landlord Spring Hope Food Drive has brought communities together as they collect non-perishable food items for the Ottawa Food Bank in their residential buildings.
With close to 200 buildings participating this year, a combined total of more than 30,000 lbs. of food was donated! We expect the number to grow as donations for this drive are still coming in!
Thank you to all the tenants of participating buildings who were so generous with their donations. Please know that your kind contributions mean a lot to the deserving families and individuals in our community who visit their community food programs.
A big thank you to the Eastern Ontario Landlord Organization and the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario, along with the following property management companies for all their coordination, support, and generosity:
- Accora Village
- CLV Group
- District Reality
- IPT Investments
- Village Millcraft Apartments
- Westboro Connection
We owe a HUGE thank you to Rogers Communications (475 Richmond Road) for donating their time and their trucks. Employees of Rogers went around to ALL of the participating buildings to pick up donations and deliver them directly to our warehouse. Thank you!
