Ottawa – We Thank You!

During the last weekend of September and the first two weekends of October, the people of the Ottawa community showed their giving spirit in local Metro, Loblaws, Your Independent Grocers, Superstores, and Walmart locations.

As our trucks collected the red bins filled with donated items, we could tell this was going to be a big food drive. As red bin after red bin filled with donation bags came in, we were blown away as our scales reached just under 300,000 pounds of food – making this the greatest food drive effort in Ottawa Food Bank history. Amazing!

The success of this food drive enables us to move into the busiest of months with confidence. Thank you Ottawa.
