The luck of the Irish was with us!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The morning of the St. Patrick’s Day parade started off chilly but warmed up as the day went on. The cool weather didn’t stop the Ottawa Food Bank’s amazing volunteers from walking all the way from City Hall to Lansdowne collecting food and money donations from generous parade-goers.

This year’s parade brought in a spectacular $1,780 and two stuffed boxes of food. This is a wonderful increase over last year’s $1,300!

Thank you to all our volunteers who showed up with smiles and festive green apparel. Also thank you to everyone along the parade route who donated; you’re generosity is incredible!

Thank you to the Irish Society of the Nation Capital Region for putting together such an incredible event, and for once again supporting the Ottawa Food Bank. Your continued support is appreciated.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1459360889055-867b05e5-f8af-7″ include=”15002,15001,15000,15003,15004″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
