Thank you Christmas Cheer!

The annual Christmas Cheer breakfast and broadcast event took place during the first week of December, and we were so pleased to once again be involved and be one of the beneficiaries.

Thank you to all who attended the beautiful breakfast at the Westin Ottawa, thank you to all who listened to the CFRA broadcast and called in, and thank you to everyone who made a donation.

This year’s Christmas Cheer brought in an amazing $168,000 to help those in need this Christmas. This year’s funds will support a variety of local charities who do their part to help families during the Christmas season, including the Caring and Sharing Exchange and the Ottawa Food Bank.

To the organizers of Christmas Cheer and to our friends at CFRA and the Westin – you did an amazing job. Thank you.

Finally, thank you to the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital for allowing us to use your call centre to ensure the broadcast and telethon ran as smoothly as possible and to the volunteers who answered phones with us all day. THANK YOU.
