Calling all groups, teams, schools, and workplaces: it’s time to sign up for your Holiday Food Drive!
This year’s Holiday Food Drive, presented by Sobey’s and FreshCo, is challenging groups and workplaces to help us fill as many refrigerators as possible! It can cost a family of four $252 per week to fill their fridge with nutritious food. You can help them stock up by raising funds or collecting food.
It is hard enough to not be able to provide gifts to your loved ones at this time of year. But not being able to provide food either is heartbreaking! That’s why, each November, we call on YOU and challenge workplaces across Ottawa to collect funds and non-perishable food for families in need, as part of our Holiday Food Drive.
Fill a Fridge!
This year we’re challenging YOU to set a goal to fill as many fridges as possible.
- Fill-a-Family-Fridge: $252 or collect 84 lbs. of food
- Fill-a-Fridge (single person): $63 or collect 21 lbs. of food
The Holiday Food Drive is a great way to bring in the holiday season, and the proceeds help the Ottawa Food Bank provide emergency food service to its community food programs and their clients well into the winter months.
