Volunteer Information Session

You Are Invited To Attend!

Each one-hour volunteer information session takes place on-site at the Ottawa Food Bank (1317 Michael St) in our volunteer room, and includes a short tour of our warehouse operation.

Space is limited! You must register by emailing our volunteer coordinator, Jo-Anne at volunteer@ottawafoodbank.ca, if you would like to attend. As these sessions are on-going, please specify which date you’re attending.

This is my first time to attend this Volunteer Information Session, can you tell me what I need to do or prepare for it?

  You don’t really need to prepare for anything. Just come ready to learn about the Ottawa Food Bank and what volunteering entails. There will be a portion where you’re sitting and listening, and then a portion where you go on a tour of our operation.
