Volunteer Information Session

You Are Invited To Attend!

Each one-hour volunteer information session takes place on-site at the Ottawa Food Bank (1317 Michael St) in our volunteer room, and includes a short tour of our warehouse operation.

Space is limited! You must register by emailing our volunteer coordinator, Jo-Anne at volunteer@ottawafoodbank.ca, if you would like to attend. As these sessions are on-going, please specify which date you’re attending.

I need to do 60 hours of community service hours for my Social Service Worker program at Algonquin College. My hours need to be submitted by the last day in May, If I could start asap it would be great.

  Same here. I’m doing 5 hours weekly of reception at Operation Come Home and I’m just barely going to squeak by into the time requirement. Give them a call and see if they have a place for you. They’re holding off on giving me more hours so they can make slots for other volunteers. 613-230-4663
