Accessibility Policy and Feedback Process

The Ottawa Food Bank is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities. We are committed to working with people with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration, and we are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner.

To support these commitments, the Ottawa Food Bank has developed an Accessibility for Persons With Disabilities Policy and a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

The Ottawa Food Bank welcomes feedback regarding our accessibility policies and programs. Feedback may be provided by email via accessibility@ottawafoodbank.ca, or by mail at:

Director, People and Culture

or by telephone at 613-745-7001.

Feedback will normally be responded to within 10 business days.

If you require accessible formats or communications supports to provide your feedback, please contact us so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

The Ottawa Food Bank is committed to communicating with people with disabilities in ways that consider their disability. Upon request, we will work with you to provide information about our organization and its services in accessible formats or with communications supports at no additional cost.

Service animals and support persons are welcome. Due to the risk of food contamination, service animals cannot enter our warehouse.

Please refer to our Accessibility for Persons With Disabilities Policy for further details and information.
