Join Walmart Canada’s sixth annual
Fight Hunger, Spark Change Campaign!
From February 17 – March 17, 2022, Walmart Canada and Food Banks Canada are encouraging Canadians across the country to participate in the Fight Hunger, Spark Change campaign. Walmart stores across the country to benefit local food banks.
For every purchase made in Walmart stores (and online at walmart.ca) of select products, participating brands will donate a portion of the proceeds back to Food Banks Canada.
Participating brands include: Campbell, Coca Cola, Conagra, Danone, Dare, Ferrero Canada, GeneralMills, Grupo Bimbo, Kellogg’s, Kraft, Maple Leaf, Mars, Mondelez, PepsiCo and Unilever.
Together, we can help individuals and families experiencing food insecurity by showing support in four ways:
1. Purchase participating products
For every purchase (in-store and online at walmart.ca) of select products, participating brands will donate a portion of the proceeds to Food Banks Canada.
2. Donate at the register
From February 17 to March 17, customers will be offered the opportunity to round up their purchase at the register to the nearest dollar and donate the difference. Walmart location will match your donation! This donation will go directly to the Ottawa Food Bank.
3. Add a donation when online shopping
Add an online donation to your order when you purchase your groceries at walmart.ca
4. Drop off food donations
Walmart stores across Ottawa will be accepting non-perishable food item donations in-store. Look for the Ottawa Food Bank donation bin after you make your purchase!
