Thank you to the East India Co Restaurant for including the Ottawa Food Bank in their 2nd annual fundraiser. This event is an amazing night for food, prizes, and fun and will be an annual fundraiser for the Ottawa Food Bank’s KickStart program.
KickStart is our program which helps school meal programs and after-school clubs give nutritious meals and snacks to children who often go to school hungry. KickStart also supplies lunches to day-camps throughout the summer when school is out.
This year’s fundraiser raised just shy of $3,000!
Thank you very much – this amazing donation will go along way to ensure school children are fed, helping them reach their full potential.
