FMI Beans for the Bank

Helping Food Banks Across Canada

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Financial Management Institute of Canada (fmi*igf). To celebrate, the Institute is challenging its members along with other financial professional’s to collect 50,000 cans of beans for food banks across Canada.

fmi*igf Chapters are collecting cans of beans at events and donating them to their local food banks. In addition to the local Chapter events, fmi*igf is collecting beans at the Professional Development Week, a conference held in Ottawa every year where over 4,000 private and public sector financial management professionals meet to keep current with best practices in managing public sector resources. Are you a financial management profession that will be attending? Don’t forget your beans, you could win a dinner for two!
