Mia spent her 11th birthday with us, helping us grow fresh vegetables in our field through our Community Harvest Program.
Along with friends, Mia did an amazing job planting all our zucchini seeds (that’s approximately 500 plants!) and helping weed the Swiss Chard.
Mia had come up with the idea to have her birthday party in the farmer’s field one day when she was in our warehouse sorting donation! What a great helper!
