HEXO Corp’s donated solar panels are fully operational at the Community Harvest farm

A little over a year ago, HEXO Corp made a donation to the Ottawa Food Bank for the installation of solar panels to power our cold storage and to power our irrigation system.

Fresh food represents 43% of the food that we deliver throughout Ottawa every year. In the summer, most fruit and vegetables distributed are from its farm. In 2018, the Ottawa Food Bank grew more than 164,334 lbs of fresh local produce.
