Visits to the Ottawa Food Bank network of 100 food programs are now over 556,000 annually.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Ottawa Food Bank, a sombre reminder that the need for food support continues. Food banks and food programs are an essential service, but they are not funded as such. Only 2% of funding comes from the City of Ottawa. The rest comes from generous donors like you from our community.
The Holiday Food Drive, presented by Mosaic, is back again for 2024! Join us in celebrating this milestone by helping to keep our shelves stocked over the holiday season. We’re calling on YOU—along with your neighbours, sports teams, faith communities, workplaces, and all other groups across Ottawa—to collect funds and non-perishable food for families in need. This is a meaningful way to connect with friends and support your community during this special year!
